A Veena-Piano collaboration by Jayanthi Kumaresh and Anil Srinivasan presented by Aalaap. The Stringmasters is a tribute to the design of the piano and the veena and a celebration of bringing together these two diverse and intertwined instruments together. The Stringmasters presents the beauty of finding common spaces between the two genres - Indian classical and Western classical -as well as showcasing each of the journeys that the instruments (veena and the piano) have taken in their respective traditions and with respect to other traditions.
