In a world, not too far ahead of now, where algorithms and machines have propelled humanity into an era of unprecedented prosperity and order, an obsessed professor of ancient history, Dr. Arnold Dorje, knows that something is not quite right. Chronoscope, a time viewing device that allows visual imagery of events that occurred thousands of years ago, is one of the many obscure inventions that not many care to know about. Driven by his consuming passion to rectify Carthaginian history, Dr. Dorje is disgruntled when he is repeatedly denied by the government to use the Chronoscope. As fate would have it, he meets a young researcher of Physics, Nissan Alamdaar, who he thinks can help him achieve his goal.
