Michael Dias is the song writer, guitarist and front man of Bangalore based rock band Mad Orange Fireworks, that's been around for 11 years now. He is taking time off from that now to focus more on going solo and is currently working on a full length solo album that's due to be released by July. Michael has been playing the guitar for over 26 years now and writing songs and singing them for the last 18. He guesses that you could call him a veteran of sorts. Michael is also a music teacher and has been teaching for the last 11 years.

Gimme A key returns for its third edition to a braver, brand new world. This festival has celebrated the work of some of the best talent in the country - musicians, instrumentalists, singers and songwriters. This year we are really excited to showcase some fine talent from the city. Cinema of Excess, Michael Dias and Joey Sharma have been a big part of the local music scene for years and we are so happy to have them share their music with us at the Festival this year.
