Tathagata Chowdhury, the playwright of this piece was awarded The Best Actor and Best Playwright awards at the Kalakranti Theatre Festival in 2007, for The Mumbai Zoo. He performs both the characters. The play has represented India at the South Asian Theatre Festival, Ohio, USA in 2014.
