The play is a comedy about the lead up to a wedding between two families, the Shankars and the Kumars. For the week before the wedding, the Shankars, who are from Bombay, are staying with the Kumars in Bangalore. A death in the extended family of the Shankar' leads them to an outburst of grief that somehow ends in a decision to mourn the passing by putting both families under house arrest. Uma, his wife, is a Bangalore girl. She can't hack Katkoot. Then she finds out she's pregnant. Meanwhile, Kamala, a local girl, has a baby boy ill with sepsis. Can Dr. Ajay cure him? As the world celebrates Shakespeare's 400th death anniversary, the BFI, the British Council and Ian McKellen unveiled BFI Present Shakespeare on Film in India.  To launch Shakespeare on Film series in India, a collection of films inspired by acts of Shakespeare, award-winning actor and writer Sir Ian McKellen came to Mumbai to present and discuss Shakespeare on Film, in collaboration with Mumbai Academy of Moving Image Film Club & the National Centre for Performing Arts, Mumbai.   The British Film Institute (BFI) was founded in 1933. A village yokel, Jagannath whose thought process and actions are often obscure to common reason. Had he been judged or harassed less or even shown some empathy or attention, he would have had a very different story to tell. But when he clashes with Nando, a fellow villager of similar background, they mirror each other’s plight seen thrpough different angles.
